Dear Friends,
After several challenging months in late 2007, I feel
more strongly than ever that voters in Central Oklahoma deserve an opportunity to change the U S Representative from the 5th
District of Oklahoma next November. The incumbent continues to move in lock-step with the most failed presidency
in American history, and rubber-stamp virtually every position held by George W. Bush.
The
worst foreign policy mistake in our history, the Bush Iraq War, was initiated by lies about weapons of mass destruction and
9/11 blame. Our wounded warriors are not receiving adequate care from a Veterans Administration recently
lead by a political hack from the Republican National Committee. Our own federal government can’t
negotiate drug prices with drug companies. The federal deficit, which stood at $5.6 trillion after the first 225 years of
our country’s history, has grown to $9.1 trillion in just the last seven years. We have a growing
international reputation for the torture of human beings. And Hurricane Katrina was possibly the greatest domestic policy
failure of our lifetime, but furnished staggering profits for the politically well connected.
As
I re-entered this race after the commutation of the Scooter Libby conviction last July, I resolved that this congresswoman
should not be allowed to represent us again in The United States House of Representatives.
America needs a little help just now. We must all do what we can to win this election.
In
a very recent political race in Iowa, one primary winner was out-spent about 20 to 1. We will win
this race! Please join US.
